we listen to a lot of different kinds of music, and get into it almost pretty much equally. in no particluar order
Ska (first wave), Funk, Industrial/dark electronica, Rap, 70's stoner rock, metal (not hair-farming falsetto metal), punk/new wave/goth, be-bop era jazz, musicals, classic country, jazzanova & downtempo, opera, drum & bass, taiko druming, japanese rock and the list goes on ad nausea. needless to say music is central to our lives.

I can't really specify I'm afraid. One minute I'll be listening to one of my Annuals (by Ministry of Sound) and the next I'll put on some John Williams.

I honestly cannot think of a preference, but that's for making me think about it for a while.

being a musician ill listen to anything and generally do.. ive got a pretty hefty music collection on vinyl for my dj'ing work but a pretty small selection of cd's it has to be really good to be bought by me.. but its all stuff right across the board.. ive got just glancing up and behind my monitor cd's like moby's play and next to it static x.. nine inch nails bedfellowing with a bonkers happy hardcore compilation... i love music.

I have to say rock. But I listen to most everything from dixie chicks (shut up and sing) to Ministry, Benny Goodman to Sepultura, Cradle of Filth to Bon jovi (when they had hair). All time Fave would have to be Led Zeppelin. I'll even listen to some Rap (BeastieBoys/NWA/Biggie not 50cent and "new rap"

My statement may have been a bit ambigious. I'll listen to some rap from my teen years (early to mid 90's) The new stuff dosen't do it for me. When I was at the mall and heard a young (12 yearold-ish) singing that she was a mother fucking P-I-M-P, I realized that I am turning into an old fogey.

Old rap for me is something you probally don't remember....UTFO- The Real Roxanne...my those were the day....mental note... I seem to remember my Granny usuing that phrase.
Anyway today we took the kids to Wiston shopping (no school-snow day) and we got to listen to Rock 92 now that is music....ZZ Top...CCR...Pink Floyd....The Stones ...Rush my all time fav anyway it was 2 for Tuesday, we had a blast, I love the Clasic Rock....Rush is the shit!

Only one problem with Rush. Geddy Lee always sounds like himself. Don't get me wrong I always turn it up when something by rush comes on but I can't listen to a full album in one sitting.
