Thread Tagging

Well most people who know Vbulletin will know how bad the search function can be so now users have the ability to add tags to their threads so people can search for them easier and creates search clouds.

Buddy List

This is completely different now. Vbulletin has seen the impact social networking has had on the internet and incorporated it within the forums. You can now have a reciprocal buddy list on your profile page.

Public messaging

Again this is an add-on from the social networking, instead of just sending private messages you can now send public messages on a persons profile, if you are familiar with Facebook you will see this is a lot like writing on someone’s wall.

User picture galleries.

You can now upload to your own albums within your profile, you can also make these private so only staff and members of your buddy list can see them or so that all registered users can view the albums.

User created social groups.

Again like Facebook, you can create your own groups and have people join your group, people can then post comments within that group.

New member profile page.

You will see the profile page is very different, more streamlined and userfriendly, but also shows more information about the user.
