I have recently had a lot of spam emails delivered to my disposable address which was created specifically for this site and has not been used anywhere else. Do you have any comments? Has the site been hacked?

Maybe Tarpy is better placed to answer this one. I have a unique email address for here too however I don't get spam.

I guess I'm just lucky the lucky one then. I have the opportunity to grow a penis that will reach around the world, the drugs to keep it permanantly stiff, and I can even get my breasts enhanced. :rotfl:
Actually it is of no great consequence as Yahoo manages to filter them all into the SPAM folder. I was just suprised to see them being sent to this particular email address. There can't be many people out there with an address including the words leg humper, yet alone the other identifers. Maybe Yahoo have had an intruder. You can bet that they wouldn't tell anyone?

It's not us... However, there's a way to run any possible name against the Yahoo servers and if it's server returns that it isn't a valid address, it moves on to another name, and saves anything yahoo terms deliverable.
So, they can harvest new accounts that have never been anywhere, try it sometime...
Make a new one, never use it, come back in 3 months, it can be astounding
Another theory is that Yahoo! at some level sells new member lists... which I'd believe
