why do you shave?

i had the idea to start this thread while i was watching the pics of pichunters beautiful girls.... and somehow i thought:why do all the girls shave???and why do we shave at all because hairs are natural?! now i want to know why do you shave?

i shave all my pubic hair because my girlfriend doesnt like any hair in that area:D btw she shaves too

Well since your shaven you should know... that when your bald down there to me personally can make the feeling alot better, you can feel the warmth and moisture alot more. And it makes a wonderful smacking sound :) hehe

I wanted to start shaving at first to prevent jock itch, which I used to get every summer. Pain to treat with hair as well. I actually started shaving because my fiancee was shaven, and she started shaving only because she accidentally walked in on her sister and noticed she was shaven and wanted to see what it was like. With me, though, I've gone through two summers shaven and haven't had any skin problems between the legs, except the fact that it itches like crazy when I haven't shaved in a while.

I started shaving my scrotum and trimming the rest because I had a job that required me to spend 8-10 hours in a hot car and frequently get out of the vehicle. I found that less hair caused less chafing and heat rashes...plus good boxer shorts helped to wick away the moisture.

Also trimming makes you junk look bigger.

My wife is completely shaved. Her reasons for going baby-butt smooth down there is that it is cooler and less sweating. Easier to keep clean and makes for some fantastic sex since she is able to feel more skin to skin contact during intercourse. Not only is she shaved, she makes sure I am too, all for the same reasons I mentioned above. To her, a hairy puss or cock looks too Neanderthal and not appealing at all. Especially when it comes to oral sex. She once told me that being shaved makes her more aware of her sensuality. The only drawback to being shaved is if she has to go to the Doctor or her OB/GYN. Then she is embarrassed about being shaved.

A doctor once told me that pubic hair has it's functions. Mostly to keep out foreign materials such as dirt and insects if she happens to urinate, say in the woods for example or skinny-dip in a lake or river. Plus it is designed to act as a wicking device to pull away excess moisture from the skin during times of extreme humidity. But he also said that pubic hair is virtually un-necessary since most people in today's society bath almost daily so most Doctors, OB/GYns do not pay attention to a woman's shaving habits.
